  • Composition: Each piece is slightly different in pattern placement and composition of the leaves, and truly one-of-a-kind, and made from start to finish by the same pair of hands. Colorful surprises and attractive inconsistencies occur in the dye process, making each item one-of-a-kind, painterly and alluring, as nature intends.

  • Flora Obscura pieces are made-to-order. It is of the utmost importance that production methods are sustainable, steadily-paced and not wasteful of materials. Each hand-dyed, hand-printed item is a unique botanical painting. The pieces are photographed in natural light to try to convey the true coloring. While variations occur in the placement of the botanical imprints, the overall design and coloration shall be true to the photo.
