Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it take to receive my order?
Since our products are made by hand in small batches, please allow 1–2 weeks for production plus shipping time. We’ll keep you updated every step of the way. Items marked as “ready to ship immediately” will be dispatched within 48-hours of ordering.

What does “plant-dyed” mean?
Plant dyeing is an ancient, natural process of coaxing color from flowers, leaves, bark, and roots. Each piece carries the spirit of the plants it was dyed with, resulting in rich, nuanced colors that shift beautifully over time.

Why are plant-dyed goods special?
Unlike synthetic dyes that can be harmful to you, your children and pets, and the planet, plant dyes are 100% non-toxic and biodegradable. They have a natural vibrancy and depth that can’t be replicated. They connect you to the earth and celebrate slow, sustainable craftsmanship. Every piece is one-of-a-kind, holding subtle variations like a fingerprint.

Are your dyes and skincare ingredients safe for sensitive skin?
Yes! We only use non-toxic, natural dyes and fibers, making them gentle on your skin and safe for your home.

How do I care for my plant-dyed silk or textiles?
Treat them like cherished heirlooms. Hand wash gently in cool water with a pH-neutral soap, then lay flat or hang in the shade to dry. Avoid harsh detergents, bleach, or direct sunlight for extended periods, as plant dyes are living colors that may fade gracefully over time.

Will the colors fade?
Over time, yes, part of the beauty of natural dyes is that they evolve with use. With proper care, your piece will develop a soft, time-worn patina that reflects its journey with you.

Are your skincare products 100% natural?
Absolutely. Our skincare is crafted from organic plant-based ingredients, free from synthetic fragrances, dyes, and harsh preservatives. Each formula is designed to nurture the skin while deepening your connection to nature.

Can I use your skincare if I have sensitive skin?
Yes. Our products are made with gentle, skin-loving botanicals. If you have highly sensitive skin or allergies, we recommend patch testing before first use.

Are your products eco-friendly?
Yes. From our ingredients to our packaging, we use sustainable, ethically sourced materials. Our plant dyes are biodegradable, and we minimize waste by working in small batches.

Where do you source your materials?
We source natural fibers, botanicals, and oils from trusted growers and suppliers who prioritize (when applicable) safe, organic practices and fair labor. Many of the plants we use are foraged or grown locally whenever possible.

Do you take custom orders?
We love creating bespoke pieces! Reach out with your ideas, and we’ll discuss possibilities for custom colors, botanicals, or special garments.
